A Speeding truck rammed into a pvt travel bus, while the bus attempted to make a turn on National Highway, in Thandalam, near Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The horrific Bus Accident caught on CCTV. The collision left 7 passengers and the truck driver was severely injured. Emergency services rushed the victims to Sriperumbudur Government Hospital for immediate treatment. The video is now widely circulated on social media.
Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police recovered 1,100 stolen and lost mobile phones over the past 45 days. Utilizing the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal, the recovered phones, valued at Rs.3.30 crore, were handed over to their rightful owners in an event on Tuesday at the Cyberabad Police Commissioner’s office here. Speaking on the occasion, DCP Crimes, K. Narasimha, said “With mobile phones playing an essential role in our daily lives, the recovery drive underscores the Cyberabad police commitment to protecting citizens from cybercrimes.”
Hyderabad: On Tuesday, around 15 students at the Tribal Girls Welfare Hostel in Saipur, Tandur, Vikarabad district, fell ill after consuming food served at the hostel. The affected students were immediately taken to government hospital in Tandur for medical attention. This incident comes on the heels of another recent food poisoning case in Narayanpet district, where 40 students were affected.
Hyderabad: Telangana Minority Finance Corporation (TGMFC) Chairman Obedulla Kothwal announced a compensation package of Rs 2 lakh for the displaced families from minorities affected by the Musi River project.
This initiative is part of a special livelihood scheme aimed at resettling minorities living in the riverbed areas of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, and Medchal districts.
Under the new resettlement plan, families that have already been relocated will receive financial assistance totalling Rs 2 lakh.
This amount comprises Rs 1.40 lakh as a subsidized loan from the corporation and Rs 60,000 as a loan from the Women’s Fund.
To date, 138 minority families have been identified for this financial support, which will be disbursed immediately, he added.
In addition to this scheme, Kothwal introduced three new initiatives for minorities, including the Indiramma Minority Women’s Scheme and the Indiramma Women’s Empowerment Scheme, which were launched with a budget of Rs 31.64 crore.
